It’s hard to believe it has been a year since this beautiful day! Happy Anniversary, Madi & Matthew!
Even on the cloudiest morning, Daya can always find something positive to celebrate. I think that’s my favorite thing about her–and when we saw sunlight streaming through the window a few weeks ago, I raced outside to capture some portraits of my joy-filled friend. Daya, you are basically a ray of sunshine reflecting the love of Jesus to everyone around you. I’m so thankful I get to serve alongside you this summer!
To the Class of 2019, congratulations!! I honored to know so many awesome graduates and know you are moving on to do even greater things! Wherever you are headed next, trust God's leading and that His love for you will never fail. I so excited to see what is in store for everyone who is graduating from high school or college this year!
Spring Formal was such a fun night with these friends and I so thankful for each of them! What an honor to photograph such incredible friends.
#umtodayinchapel "Forgiven people, forgive people." // Acts 6-8 One of my favorite parts of being a student at the University of Mobile is having chapel every week on Tuesday and Wednesday. Today, Chase Alford brought an incredibly encouraging (and challenging) message that I truly can't help but share (at least a summary). Looking at the life and death of Stephen, the first Christian who died for his faith, we can learn so much: • Are we willing to live for Christ? • It's not what you bring to the table but what Christ has brought to the table. • Bitterness is never the answer. Forgiveness is. • We can be confident in what the Holy Spirit can do when we are pursuing Christ. “But he, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.” // Acts 7:55
And the mood for this weekend is...🍦😋 I want to know! What's your go-to ice cream flavor?
Being a full-time student in Mobile since August has honestly been so much fun–and if you know my love for learning, this probably isn't a surprise! Mobile, AL and the people here have inspired me beyond what I could have ever expected and I love calling this city "home". That being said, I so excited to photograph more of the azing people here in the Gulf Coast in the next few months and can't wait to see what this spring holds (beyond plenty of rain 😂)!
This girl! We met in a middle school creative writing class and have been the best of friends ever since. She is basically a firecracker who will surprise you with her jokes and love for rock music. Most importantly, Hannah loves Jesus and loves telling others about the hope she has in Him. If you've ever seen me photographing a wedding, you've probably seen Hannah not far behind me, helping me throughout the day. And now she's a senior in high school?! 😱 Love you so much, Hannah, and hope this year is everything you hope for and more! ❤️
This girl. Not only is Rachel an amazing volleyball player, but she is also one of the most kind friends you could ask for. I loved snapping a few photos of her on campus this Sunday! Such a beauty; from the inside-out. ❤️
Happy Monday! It has been a while since I've shared my face in these squares, but I think it's time for a quick life update... This weekend I moved to Mobile, AL to start my time as a college freshman (which means sessions in Clarke County now have limited dates)! I so excited for the opportunity to serve another community and can't wait to see what azing moments and people I have the privilege of photographing in Mobile! 😍
Last weekend's gorgeous wedding day is now on the blog (link in my profile)! Congratulations Madi and Matthew!!!
Matthew and Madi are now husband & wife! Their wedding day was absolutely stunning and filled with so much love and joy! Stay tuned for their wedding day blog post this week. 😍
This sweet couple gets married tomorrow, and I couldn't be more excited for them! It's going to be an amazing day! ❤️
I may be late to the "sparklers photo party", but I couldn't resist sharing this photo of my brother's sparkler with the rest of our fily holding their own sparklers in the background. It makes me think of community–we are always better together. 💡✨ I've been quiet on here this summer as I get ready for college, but I so excited for the rest of this month and what it will hold! I hope you had a happy (and safe) Independence Day! ❤️
I'm spending a week in one of my favorite places and loving every minute! What are your favorite spots to visit in Seattle? I'd love to know! 🙌🏻
This month is full of traveling, portrait sessions, community events, and maybe a little rest snuck in between. 🙌🏻 I now booking Class of 2019 senior portrait sessions, so if you love the idea of running in summer's golden light or just want to get a head start on your "Senior Year To-Do List", this is for you! ☀️
This sweet friend is such a talented photographer and artist! She was so kind to for me a few weeks ago so I could shoot a roll of film. Ricki, you are a gem. ❤️😍
What an honor to have my images published in the Delight & Be Magazine! I love everything about this incredible community, and this magazine is full of encouragement and inspiration. If you're a girl who loves the creative arts, you will love this magazine! I'm sharing a link in my bio if you want to learn more. 😊🌸
