48 years ago Patrolman Robert Bolden of the NYPD 75th Precinct was shot and killed when he attempted to stop a robbery in progress while off-duty. To this day his killer has not been found and it remains one of 3 unsolved murders of NYPD members. The PBA is supporting NYPD CrimeStoppers and the Cold Case Squad to close the case and deliver justice to Plt. Bolden’s family. Fox’s honor. On February 16, 1941, Ptl. Fox was shot and killed in the line of duty while pursuing suspects in an armed robbery. Mayor de Blasio was at the Ankeny Area Democrats’ BBQ in Ankeny, Iowa this afternoon, claiming to be the most labor-friendly presidential candidate in the race. The PBA billboard truck was there too, to let voters and the news media know that he actually puts “Working People Last.”
