Big move for the #FIFAWWC🥉medal winner from 🇸🇪. Good Luck! #Repost @asllani9 📍🇪🇸 Proud to announce that I’ll be the first official signing for Real Madrid/Cd Tacon. Excited to write history, to help build and be part of this teams journey from the very start. It’ll be a dream to wear the most beautiful jersey in the world starting next season. Hala Madrid y nada mas! #HALAMADRID ⚪️⚫️
Day 4 of @majahitij's #FIFAWWC favourite photos, are these @matildas fans. In her words: You could find lots of young fans during the tournament, creating a great atmosphere, and cheering on their heroes. It's interesting to think if some of the girls I photographed, may in future be on the field, inspired by what they saw in France. Come on Instagram. Can you help us find these kids, or their families? 🇦🇺📸
Keep sharing your best photos from France, tagging them with #myFIFAWWC. Anyone else meet their idol? #Repost @iz.jottkah • • • • • • Fangirl Moments. We continue our #FIFAWWC reflection series, with a 3-in-1 offering today from @majahitij with #Germany. 1. TRAVEL - For some teams, traveling around France was not limited to short rides. @dfb_frauenteam traveled from Rennes to Lille on a TGV train. Players used the chance to take a short nap. 2. FREE TIME - When you're trying to win a World Cup, free time is at a premium. One day, the German team took the opportunity to have a short break at the beach near Montpellier. 3. THE GYM - Players don’t just spend time on the pitch to train. Lots of strength training is done in the gym. In Rennes, players had a big gym to train. Here, Dzsenifer Marozsan, who got injured after the game against China, was working hard, hoping for a quick comeback.
Yesterday we asked you to share your best moments from this summer, using the hashtag #myFIFAWWC. This is a strong start! #Repost @laura_pestel • • • • • • One day @alexmorgan13 said “Dream big because dreams do happen” And my dream has come true. I met #Pinoe. Best day of my life. I waited for this moment for 8 years. Thank you @mrapinoe 🇺🇸🇺🇸 #meganrapinoe #usateam #myFIFAWWC
It's the last goal. And last day of voting. We asked you to choose your favourite strike for the Hyundai #GoaloftheTournament, from our ten-strong #FIFAWWC shortlist. Goal J: @sofiajakobsson 🇸🇪against England, on route to the🥉 medal. Click on the link in our Story to vote, or visit our Bio.
Yesterday we started a new, daily series with our @gettysport photographers. Now, it's YOUR turn! We want to see the best 📸🤳or 🎬 you took during this amazing tournament . Tag your photo (you can also tag an old one) with #myFIFAWWC. Each day, we'll share one of the best.
The second photo chosen by @majahitij in her favourites of the #FIFAWWC, is this. In Maja's words: A few days before the tournament started, players just cannot not wait to begin. Those first days are filled with team meetings or outside on the training pitch. @caro_simon30 of Germany is especially fun. She is like the sunshine of the team, always in a good mood and needs just a second to make a whole group laugh. But on the pitch she is a real fighter. In this photo, she is posing during a FIFA official portrait session with my colleague @CatherineIvill.
Two to go! Choose your favourite strike for the Hyundai #GoaloftheTournament, from our ten-strong #FIFAWWC shortlist. Click on the link in our Story to vote, or visit our Bio. Goal I: @jackie_groenen_14 🇳🇱 against Sweden, to send @oranjeleeuwinnen into the Final.
