That awkward moment when you’re the only one in the house now who eats bananas and you already froze the last two bunches and can’t keep up 😹 cue @toneitup banana bread muffins! But so grateful for these because meal prep did not happen yesterday after a long weekend of 😌 it will definitely be happening today, tho! ⠀ ⠀ This is an oldie but goodie TIU recipe ⬇️⠀ ⠀ ✨ 3 bananas, mashed⠀ ✨ 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt or almond yogurt⠀ ✨ 1 egg⠀ ✨ 1 Tbs. unsweetened almond milk⠀ ✨ 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup⠀ ✨ 1 cup almond meal (I used oat flour) ⠀ ✨ 4 scoops vanilla Perfect Fit Protein (now, Tone It Up protein unless you still have a stock of PFP 💁🏼‍♀️) ⠀ ✨ 1 tsp. baking soda⠀ ✨ 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (or cacao nibs!)⠀ ⠀ Directions: ⠀ ✨ Preheat oven to 350° degrees⠀ ✨Mix all dry ingredients together in one bowl⠀ ✨ Mash bananas and stir in remaining wet ingredients in a separate bowl ⠀ ✨Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix⠀ ✨ Fold in dark chocolate chips⠀ ✨ Spray muffin tin with cooking spray and pour batter into each muffin ⠀ ✨ Bake for 20-25 minutes ⠀ ⠀ I often forget the abundance of recipes TIU also provides on their website outside of their nutrition plan 😍 definitely plan on making more from there to switch it up a bit for meal prep! ⠀ ⠀ Happy Monday! xoxo

Ultimate Fit Chick

Officially completed my first kids yoga teacher training 🎉🧘🏻‍♀️ ⠀ ⠀ What an amazing weekend learning how to teach yoga on a kid’s level and also getting to be a kid again! So grateful for the wonderful group of women I got to share this training with, especially @ellieecarll! Also, thank you, @kiddingaroundyoga for a well structured program and brand and for @ultimatefitchick for opening up her doors to us! So happy to join this community ✨ ⠀ ⠀ I highly recommend this training to anyone who wants to bring the joy of yoga to little ones 💯⠀ ⠀ Now, that I have completed my YTT trainings (for now ), I’ll be preparing to start teaching soon! Stay tuned 💖

You guys remember how I set a goal to run 26 miles in June for my 26th birthday? 🏃🏽‍♀️⠀ ⠀ It was suppose to happen in the month of June. I had it all strategically mapped out week by week and was so determined and ready to really to commit to something like this and start this new year off strong🔥 ⠀ ⠀ But the reality was I didn’t factor in everything else happening in this season of life 🤷🏼‍♀️ I thought I could manage it but so many other things became a priority that it just didn’t happen... ⠀ ⠀ But that’s totally OKAY! So many other AMAZING things did happen and it’s not like I’m giving up or anything. I’m going with the flow and decided that I can still check off those miles during my 26th year - not just my birthday month 💁🏼‍♀️ ⠀ ⠀ Deciding to rework this goal to work with this season of life right now is so much better than getting down on myself for not completing it within the expected timeframe ✨ this goal totally could’ve been crushed in a different season but it came to me in this one so I’m still going to run with it (pun slightly intended) and make it a little more flexible right now ✨ sometimes we just need more time 💞 ⠀ ⠀ Yes, goals are meant to be achieved. And yes, we need to stick to our goals and not let ourselves down, but we are also human and need to give ourselves grace and realistic expectations in my opinion ✨ ⠀ ⠀ Keep working towards your goals even if it doesn’t always play out how you thought it would 💖 no sense in giving up anyway, right? ⠀ ⠀ Want to join me in ?
