I took this photo in the 2011, when I started to take photos of . During this years, Ive seen how much this hobby have grownup thanks to Internet and the social media. When in the past I used to manipulate more the s, now I try to take all my photos in situ and without manipulation of the animal. Maybe this group of are one of the most difficult to obtain results without manipulation, but itโ€™s possible and with time, observation and desires of do the things as good as possible, all its possible. Of course sometimes the results are not so good, with the best pose, background etc, but sometimes is much better in many ways, and the feeling of have being doing the things right and ethically make it worth. Im not saying that I never touch an animal, but Im trying to do all my photos without do it, and only when itโ€™s necessary for different causes to do it, i do that. While my goal is to raise , I think that its better to do it with ethical measures at the time of take the photos, than simply say that it doesnโ€™t matter the process if the result is nice just only for take the photo I have in mind. Ethics matters and should be a priority in photography. This photo was not in situ and with manipulation of the snake, due to the snake (Vipera seoanei) was found in a parking where probably would be killed by somebody. So I captured and released in the forest. Photo by @javier_aznar_photography
