I will never forget it because the last session I attended (a year ago), some lady yelled at me. she yelled at me because I said I'm thankful for what I went through & the truth is I am. I would never wish what I face on anyone, but the struggle I went through, the pain I felt, the low that my life was at allowed me to come out stronger. it allowed me to find my strengths, it allowed me to learn how to love me. it allowed me to become a person with a bigger heart & more compassion. it has allowed me to help other's. so was it fun? no it sucked. it was hard. it was miserable. but it has helped make me who I am today & for that yes I am THANKFUL! •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Let's have a look at my recent #afternoonsnack which I'm eating when I'm not eating fruit bars. 
I eat #nuts in all variations. 
These here are cashews and almonds covered with TRUFFLES and salt and I tell you - THAT TASTES AMAZING!
I can't believe I was scared of nuts for such a long time. .. now I can't live without them anymore💕

So I'm still struggling with my body image and the voices in my head which keep telling me I'm gaining tons at the moment which is obviously nonsense. 
I ask myself why do I even care what my weight does at the moment? 
I eat because I need the food and because I feel hungry.
I relax and rest because i feel exhausted and tired and in top of that it's too hot.
How can this be wrong when  it feels so right?
How can my body do something which is not okay when it is so obvious that my body needs what I'm doing?
It might seem wrong first my head but as I can't trust my head I better trust my body.
The body never works against us - that's fact.
Our body wants nothing but the best for itself and would never do and want something which is harmful. 
I keep telling me this all around the clock.

Check sunlightandspice's Instagram So I just spent 10 days in Spain being decidedly and intentionally unhealthy and unvegan so I could very literally TASTE the culture I was living in. (Give it up for tapas, manchego, café con leche, etc.) While I don't regret for a second immersing myself fully into this new experience - gotta live my best life - this trip provided more than a few revelations, personal and global. I won't bore you with the non-health-related ones. Mostly, I was so interested in the sourcing of food - countless menus that lacked anything not locally available, and the prevalence of fresh, not industrialized meats and dairy. I don't really consume these things, but I recognize that others have the freedom to, and so the industry is important to investigate. I took a glance in a few grocery stores (of course) and was surprised by the small sizes and overwhelming lack of processed foods in comparison to America. This is what we need. In a more personal vein, I became hypersensitive to how food, environment, strangers, friends, and media all impact my personal self-image, both negatively and positively. And I am crazy sensitive to those factors. I took the picture above not wanting to believe how "fat" I looked in that bathing suit, in a state of constant insecurity. While I have looked thinner in the past, focusing on that tiny detail during the beautiful unfolding of My Life Abroad was unnecessary and trivial compared to the sights and experiences around me. I started reading a book,it was a boring book but I always make myself finish every book I start.So I forced myself to read this one but then it hit me,life is too short to read a crapy book.Time to borrow a good book.Firstly I made myself a ice coffee  and then I walked the dog.I also cleaned all the surfaces in my house and went to the supermarket(I almost died fue to heat😂).I was pretty productive.I don't think I can survive a trip to the library in this weather so I might just do some colouring or watch a movie.
