Before starting, dev is ❤⁣ ⁣ So, backend is basically your server. It's basically where the logic and the of your application lives.⁣ It's where usually the processing of data and fetching of data from the takes place.⁣ ⁣ There are multiple languages in which you can code a backend, the first step is to learn the language and then second, learn a framework.⁣ Some languages used for backend - , , , and many more.⁣ ⁣ I will talk about Python in detail coz that's the only language I have experience with at the backend.⁣ So python has a very rich ecosystem for . The two major frameworks are and , Flask is barebones framework, it has enough to get you started and is very easy to use. Django is like the whole package but the learning curve is much more than Flask and Django is basically overkill for certain simple ⁣ applications⁣ ⁣ In the backend, also comes hosting the webapp and it's a very tricky thing to figure out.⁣ ⁣ I hope this helped you guys even a little!⁣ This was the last post of the webdev series⁣ ⁣ SERIES PART 5⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #compsci

Day 4 of the DevOps practitioner course. ✅ . Today’s topic was Docker! . For those unfamiliar, Docker is a software platform designed to make it easier to create, deploy, and run applications by using containers. Containers allow a developer to package up an application with all of the parts it needs, like libraries and other dependencies, and ship it all out as one package. . Before Docker, if you wanted to deploy and run your application on a server, you’d have to make sure the server was configured and had all the necessary bits and pieces needed to make your code run. Docker eliminates that issue, also makes the deployment package lighter and boosts performance! Not to mention you can have multiple Docker containers running different applications all at the same time on one server. . In only 5 years, Docker has really revolutionised the way code is deployed and ran.

i decided that trying to learn a bit about iOS development over the summer, so i’m starting with some design basics - - - - - #compsci

What if there was a way to treat any incurable brain illness in a patient? . . "The nanobot is smaller than a human cell. As a result, it can enter the brain, navigate through tissues and cells, and reach the targeted area without causing trauma.” Bertrand Duplat, says there’s a new way to fight neurological disorders that were originally impossible to treat. . . ‘Imagine a city surrounded by a river and a wall. In this city, there are fires. If you’re near a fire, it’s easy to put it out and even repair what’s causing the damage. Except that you don't have the ability to be in the city. You’re outside it.... the city is the human brain. And the wall that neuroscientists are stuck behind? The blood-brain barrier.” . . "The power of the robot comes from the fact that it is in constant communication with the outside world. It gives information about ph levels, temperature, and other measurements that were previously impossible to get." . . #compsci @bomafrance
