Superfood of the day - Chocolate! Ok, before you go crazy Iโ€™m talking about cacao and good quality dark chocolate. The Supreme Science Center says that chocolate is the highest phytochemical food of all time making it fit for the gods - so to speak. Harvard graduates did a study that should that chocoholics lived longer than those who donโ€™t eat chocolate. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Chocolate does not raise your bad cholesterol levels, but can in fact raise your happy cholesterol levels. Itโ€™s phytochemicals help to keep the arteries clean. It may also help to lower blood pressure, therefore making it protect against heart disease. Chocolate is full of antioxidants making it excellent for your skin. It also helps protect your skin from sun damage. Itโ€™s good for your heart, liver, skin, and hair, and it may help with your sleep. Wow! It really is a superior treat. Careful not to over indulge.
