Creating an ecosystem where women get together to support one another and thrive as a community is partly why NLBWA-LA is expanding to the South Bay region. Plus, the South Bay is the heart of LA鈥檚 growing startup scene and encompasses much of Silicon Beach. As it stands, the South Bay is home to over 750,000 Angelinos and 45.2% of the population identifies as Latino. In recent years AT&T, Google, and the LA Times have all moved corporate offices to this region, boosting the number of corporate professionals working in the region. Furthermore, over 70% of the business identify as small business owners who serve the community directly. The event takes place on September 18th.
