5 GOOD REASONS TO MEDITATE LESS... ‍ Everyone, everywhere says meditation is THE WAY to inner peace, focus, and manifesting a gazillion-bajillion dollars!!! ‍ But...it's not THE ONLY way. ‍ Here are five reasons you might want to try something more physically engaging like Tai Chi, walking in nature, Kundalini dance (spontaneous, free dance), yoga, singing/chanting or breathwork: ‍ 1. Some of us are deeply kinesthetic, which means we release stress better and even learn better when we have our body in motion ‍ 2. Quieting the mind can happen more effectively when we are able to release highly charged emotional energy through the active body ‍ 3. Engaging our body can release happy hormones ‍ 4. Doing repetitive movements or breath-involved activity can help switch your brain state from the Gamma or Beta state (high mental alertness and processing we need for doing) into the Alpha or Theta state (flow and calm we need for learning, creating and intuiting) ‍ 5. Physical activity increases our blood flow and oxygenates our blood which has many benefits, including helping clear our mind and boost our immune system ‍ The last few years I’ve come to deeply appreciate how much my mind (and subsequently my life and biz) benefits when I enroll my body as an ally. ‍ As a highly sensitive and wildly creative person, I'm very easily pulled off track by my own ideas, emotions or energies in my environment. ‍ But when I take care of my physical energy (even just 10 - 15 minutes) I find I can focus better, follow-through on tasks, and feel more satisfied with my own work. ‍ What do you like to do for movement medicine? I always advise people not to get hung up on the term ‘ sensitive’ . It’s just information about your personality. Maybe your child is sensitive - and that’s okay. ⠀ ⠀ We aren’t here to change that. There’s nothing to ‘fix’. Really. ❤️ It’s about understanding their personality so that you can better connect with them and give them what they need emotionally 💜 ⠀ ⠀ We can’t meet a child’s needs or another persons need for love and connection if we don’t understand them and how they tick.⠀ ⠀ We all have a personality. Some people are just more sensitive than others. It’s a really wonderful trait to have.

Are you comfortable with being a beginner?⁣ ⁣ Being a beginner means doing things you haven't done before. These things may be completely outside of your skillset or they may build on existing skills. ⁣ ⁣ Some of these things can be hard. So, how do you react?⁣ ⁣ Do you get frustrated and feel like you *should* already know how to do something or naturally be good at it?⁣ ⁣ Do you try and give up or do you stick with it?⁣ ⁣ This is important to understand about yourself.⁣ ⁣ As you continue to grow your business from five figures to six and beyond, you will be faced with all kinds of new. ⁣ ⁣ You're always going to be a beginner at something.⁣ ⁣ Each uplevel in your business requires new learning and skills. ⁣ ⁣ You can choose: ⁣ ☹️resistance, frustration, and expectation or ⁣ 😄openness, curiosity, and excitement⁣ ⁣ The second option is the one that is enjoyable. But part of self care is not asking our highly sensitive child self to show up in adult situations. . There is an inner strength. Just observe that mountain on the Three of Pentacles card. . It’s not self-judgment that keeps us from bringing our ‘authentic’ sensitivity to work. It’s discernment. . Own your power. . . . leader

I’ve woken up this morning to messages for next weeks course and I’m so happy to say that it’s almost sold out! Happy because we have an abundance of parents helping their kids with a variety of things such as anxiety , tummy aches, meltdowns, nervous symptoms and much more!
