I didn’t expect to have a depression and feel the way I do when I had a child. I didn’t expect to have a child that never sleeps, a child that are very needy. I didn’t expect to struggle as much, to scream in pain cause lack of sleep. I didn’t expect to cry out of grief for not having the time I wanted with my child. I DID however, expect to get support. But when you are always down, always cancel, never say it’s wonderful to have a child, when you have a depression - a mental distinction that nobody understands or even wants to understand, then they run. I’ve always been there for each and everyone of my friends, but once having a child and a depression, you truly notice who your, few, real friends really are. To reply a text I got the other day - “ I don’t call because I have no desire to hear how great your life is at the moment, and I don’t text because I seriously don’t have the energy to. I’m crying and screaming everyday, if you was my real friend, you would know. With this I want to say - please stay close and true to your friends who need you. Even if you don’t know what to say or handle what they are going through at the moment. #emotionalstress

The expectation of a person who truly loves another is nothing but love in return, not their ignorance, ignorance starts to play with the mind of the person who truly loves someone, makes them suffer through the thought of what are they doing wrong, they say you need to leave it there, but true love doesn't leave it there, it hurts itself but doesn't go away, it's goes into abyss of silence until it's heard, but what does it know that it's for a very short period of time, it has failed it thinks, what do you think? #emotionalstress

It's not wrong to need to take a mental health/stress break from work. In fact, in this post I'm going to encourage it. I took one and I have no regrets.⁣ ~⁣ I needed it. Plain and simple.⁣ ~⁣ I struggled to get out of bed. I was instantly sad and anxious on my way in to work. I couldn't handle interacting with selfish, entitled people who lack patience. I was tired of working alone and getting yelled at for things outside my control. I cried. Regularly. I stopped going above and beyond because I had no energy. I felt stuck and thought it was something wrong with me. I needed time. Help. Clarity.⁣ ~⁣ It took a long time for me to muster up the courage to ask for help, including a transfer to another store WITH help. The fact that I got ignored (err, well more like, 'figure it out brandi') just stacked on more stress. Was it me? Was I failing at this job? Insert onset depression here. ⁣ ~⁣ I realized I needed to walk away for a while. I needed a break and more than just a vacation. I needed weeks, months to relax, calm down, collect myself, and get back on track. So I took it. I have literally ZERO regrets about it becauseI came out stronger for it.
