Absolutely love Zebras, they are so beautiful and majestic and they were running free amongst the trees, no cages, they approached our quad bikes and let us stroke them so they could eat. One of the best days in Mauritius πŸ˜πŸ˜Šβ›° . . . . .

This year has been an adventure... Promised myself I would see more of the Motherland & explore the beautiful continent, the more I go back, the longer I want to stay πŸ’š . . . . . . @tee____88 πŸ“Έ by @miazipporah

Feeling inspired by this series of documentaries! Love connecting with creative's from the diaspora that look at the world in the same way as I do and remind me why it's so important to keep striving and doing what I love.... πŸ‘ŒπŸ½πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ“½ Taxi Waves is a brand new documentary by Crudo Volta that captures contemporary youth and music cultures across three different African cities: Lagos, Maputo and Addis Abeba.... Flashback to the streets of Lagos πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ This girl is always there by my side with her positive words of wisdom. Looking on the bright side, living life in the moment.... Last week I messaged her asking for some advice and she told me 'Life is for Enjoyment' (in a Jamaican accent) - Best advice ever! HBD @tee____88 πŸ’š . . . πŸ“Έ by @miazipporah

Check out my last post and watch our recent video with Model Emily Viviane at Elite London πŸ“½πŸ™ŒπŸ½ "You don't need to have societies definition of long hair to be super feminine. You can do whatever the hell you want with your hair and still feel like an incredibly beautiful woman" ~ quoted by Emily in recent video πŸ’š @emviviii πŸ“Έ Video still: @tee____88

Check out a new video we created for the beautiful model Emily Viviane. This shoot was powerful for me, because I've also had a weird relationship with my hair, like most women, hair is such an important part of our external image, but when a women cuts her hair off, I am reminded that hair does not define you, we glow from the inside and we define our own standard of beautiful! I love seeing women wuuurrrk their beauty with confidence and sass! Go Emily! . . . . Love finding these priceless moments in my Poloroid memories... This holiday was amazing in so many ways β˜€οΈπŸŒπŸŒŠπŸŒ΄πŸ’šπŸ™ŒπŸ½

Flashback to the moment when I got an hour away from filming in Nigeria. My packing essentials for filming abroad....Vintage headscarf, large t-shirt & Sunglasses that I always forget to bring with me. I also discovered how amazing twists are when you haven't got time to think about your hair, always up before sunrise and loads of late nights.

One of my favourite things to capture is a smile that lights up a persons face... Those heart felt smiles that light up the room. Smiling to me is one of the most beautiful things & it doesn't cost a thing πŸ˜ŠπŸ’šπŸ‡³πŸ‡¬

The power of the eyes. Communication that goes way beyond words. The language of the eyes cannot be concealed. Wherever I go, even if the words are foreign the language of the eyes is always universal. Most of the times when I look into the eyes of a young person I see curiosity, innocence and sometimes uncertainty. A reminder that they are the generation that are relying on us to keep our eyes open, to look deeper and not to lead them blindly... πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬πŸ’š . . . . . . . .
