It’s only 106° today, but we had back-to-back record-breaking temps this week, 112° and 114° on Tuesday and Wednesday. Winning, eat that 1986 and 2007! .

Follow-up to today’s video about my Dead Air Wolverine suppressor getting stuck badly! We did eventually get it off, took a rubber strap wrench and someone with gorilla strength though. As I said before, the can itself was not stuck onto the threads of the rifle, instead the threaded locking ring shown in other photos was stuck and not letting can unlock itself. The Wolverine locks on by design so it can’t loosen during shooting which is great... but not so great if you can’t unlock it! That is what happened, it’s also tricky to grip due to being a ring with no slots for a tool. As you can see the threaded ring is fine, no damage or strange wear, goes on and off smooth too, no idea why it got bound up. We added some grease and will keep an eye on it, these things happen. . 💪

Rough day of AK suppressor testing, nothing seemed to go right! My local range doesn’t allow bimetal ammo so had to drive more than an hour away to do this... Took along four AKs to try with the new Dead Air Wolverine PBS-1 but it got stuck on the very first rifle! By design it’s meant to lock onto an AK’s front sight block pin to prevent loosening, and it did that perfectly... but the threaded locking ring which allows it to unlock refused to budge when I tried to remove it after shooting, and no one could get it off! There isn’t a a tool to fit it, no indents. So the whole outing was shot, couldn’t try the can on the other setups. Plus, either the Wolverine or that rifle, or the combination of the two, did not want to cycle the subsonic ammo I brought along. Meanwhile, my comparison AK with ASR and SilencerCo Hybrid sounded quieter, ate all five types of ammo, and cycled subs without issue. Unexpected! I’ll have to try again at some later point, I refuse to give up on at least working through other calibers and hearing the Wolverine with subs! 😤👂🏻 . Both the DA Wolverine and the SiCo Hybrid I got from @capitolarmory, they make buying suppressors online easy. They also have excellent customer support, the Wolverine was missing one of the its two external locking collars, Capitol Armory got it taken care of super fast! Maybe it is unlucky? Or I’m unlucky? Thermal video recorded on Pulsar as always.🤷🏼‍♀️ .

What is it?! A *color* digital night vision camera from @auroranightvision! Affordable, safe to run during day or night without burn-in, Bluetooth to phone, oh and did I mention it’s also color?! So how does it stack up to my Gen3 PVS-14 or PVS-15 tubes? And can it really see color at night as advertised? Stay tuned to find out, I’ll be putting this through the paces. Oh, and the pre-order newer version of this camera is priced under $360 and I’ve seen dual helmets mounts for it... 😮🤩

Speaking of awesome M3/4 trunk setups... quite roomy for a lil Netflix and chill... 🎥👀

“Ain’t no laws when you’re drinking Claws” isn’t gonna cut it so how many tax stamps would you need to explain this car trunk? 🧐🤷🏼‍♀️ . Disclaimer: White Claws taste terrible but in a pinch, after 5 days wandering lost in the desert, the grapefruit might be tolerable. The lime? Better off succumbing to elements. Also, don’t drink and shoot guns duh, and, don’t drink white claws double duh.

Took my new @ottoengineering earbuds out for range testing, look how small they are! Definitely stick out less than the Walkers and waaay less than the 3M/Peltors... But how do they sound? Super, even with the windy day! Best of all, the smaller body size means they fit snugly inside my outer auditory canal (the exterior portion of the ear) and don’t hurt over time. I’m talking not about the tips which have interchangeable sizes but the actual body of the device itself, it needs to be snug in your outer ear and can get uncomfortable if it’s too large or pressing on the cartilage. After two hours I had zero issues, these are the most comfortable earbuds that I’ve tried, very pleased. Next step will be to see how they do on a crowed range with lots of shooting and conversations, stay tuned! . Also had a chance to finally try the DA Wolverine I got from @capitolarmory, I’ll have more info and video of how that went as well in another post. The AK shown is a @leearmory military classic cerakoted by my shop @wepleadthe2nd in elite blackout (it’s like glass!), the furniture is also faux bakelite cerakote.

Continuing the @brickmaniatoys B-17G LEGO build, bag woo! . As you can see this bag was for building one of the huuuge wings, along with two engines. Lots of structural supports to keep it from sagging, it is quite heavy but is holding its shape thanks to technic parts. One single step of this bag had something like 64 smooth squares to add to the top of the wing, pretty crazy, you can see them all stacked up in a photo. Being organized is definitely key! .
