When you never go out so obviously the one time you do you need to document it by taking as many pictures in front of flower walls as possible ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’ž Lovely weekend off and in the capital with my hubs @ssimonkennedy for some early birthday celebrations. Plenty of treats were eaten and cocktails were drank, because ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ @ivyedinburgh

What is this rain about ๐Ÿ˜ฉ so easy to lose motivation and just want to put your feet up when itโ€™s grey and miserable outside ๐Ÿ˜ฉ Dreaming of being back on the beach in 12 weeks so using that as my motivation! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผโ˜€๏ธ

Hair up, get it done ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜‚ 90 mins of me time last night doing a quick gym sesh and getting my nails done ๐Ÿ’…๐Ÿผ

Throwing it back to sunny Portugal pool days with Insta vs Reality ๐Ÿ˜‚โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ Loving life on the pool flamingo but also noticing the stretched skin crinkling up on my tum! I like both photos because they just make me think of having fun on holiday with my wee family. And thatโ€™s how my tummy looks now because I grew my beautiful baby โœŒ๐ŸผโœŒ๐ŸผโœŒ๐Ÿผ

Back at @club_gym_ today having a โ€œbreakโ€ from chasing around my little toddler (yes TODDLER ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿผ). Had the best time in Portugal with my family although Iโ€™m not sure I would describe it as a โ€œholidayโ€ with a 14 month old ๐Ÿ˜‚ so nice lying by the pool and having a week off from gym/running/yoga to semi recharge, and ready to get back to it ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ Also let the holiday spam pics commence ๐Ÿ˜‚๐ŸŽ‰

Race for life 5km this morning with my two fav supporters! ๐Ÿ‘ช 27min 24sec which Iโ€™m pretty pleased with because this is my first race post baby and my aim was just to be sub 30mins! Always good to have a little goal to work towards ๐Ÿฅฐ And for a cause thatโ€™s important to me and so many others. Such a lovely race to run too, almost crying every five mins reading everyoneโ€™s story ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ’™ Great cause.

Visiting my fav place with my fav person ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ @club_gym_ Quick upper body session whilst Daddy was in charge! Although I need to stop saying โ€œquick session todayโ€ because all my sessions are 30/40 mins max now ๐Ÿ˜‚ because ! Lack of sleep and time but still make a little time for myself and try to be consistent ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

Finally back in the @club_gym_ after having a sick baba who very kindly passed his germs to Mama! Heโ€™s lucky heโ€™s cute! Getting to go to the gym as much as I want is a thing of the past these days, I just try my best ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ Smashed my legs in about 22 mins and have theee worst doms ๐Ÿ˜‚. -3 mins fast stair master -3 x 20 goblet squats -3 x 20 leg extensions -3 x 20 hamstring curls

I officially can no longer live without my @fabletics leggings with phone pocket ๐Ÿ˜‚ like actually what did I do with my phone before?! ๐Ÿคณ๐Ÿฝ Spotify 90s throwback playlist is a must for leg day ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ leg workout today - Sprints, barbell squats, leg extensions, hamstring curl DONE ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ

Saturday was for dining out and (several ๐Ÿ™‰๐Ÿ™ˆ) cocktails ๐Ÿธ so no โ€œday of restโ€ today! Dragged my slightly hungover butt to the gym for a full body session today. Previously I would have enjoyed being lazy on the sofa all day but now itโ€™s hard enough to squeeze in workouts so need to take advantage when I can ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ โ–ช๏ธsprints โ–ช๏ธgoblet squats โ–ช๏ธplank hold โ–ช๏ธbicep curls โ–ช๏ธshoulder press โ–ช๏ธleg extension

The most random session ever tonight... it was a case of train whatever muscle doesnโ€™t hurt ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ Planked to my hearts content haha because 1. I enjoy it and 2. Also very useful for working on my yoga skills

Workinโ€™ on that booty pop ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘ still some major work required to build it back again so whatever works right now ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚ Finally at the same kind of tempo during my workouts now since pre pregnancy... ITS TAKEN 10 MONTHS PEOPLE ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ฉ I really didnโ€™t understand until after I gave birth what my body was capable of ๐Ÿ˜‘ but I have a whole new respect for it and have taken my time getting my fitness back. Trying to start all my sessions with 5 mins of hill sprints on the treadmill (20sec on, 40sec off) with the mentality that itโ€™s only 5 mins so I can set a high incline and speed. Only 5 mins and I was almost sick ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿ˜‚

Celebrated Valentines Day early this weekend with a spa hotel night away with my hubby ๐Ÿฅฐโค๏ธ Also maybe it seems sad to some people but something I was so excited for was a chance to go to the gym together again โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ (we did meet in the gym!!) and itโ€™s something we just donโ€™t get the chance to do now we are parents. @ssimonkennedy put me through my paces as usual with a full body session. Ive not done smith machine reverse lunges in forever and my glutes are definitely feeling it today!! ๐Ÿ‘

Getting my sweat on earlier ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ฆ When I really didnโ€™t want to/couldnโ€™t be bothered ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ฉ But forced myself out the door and did 30 mins and I feel sooo much better now! Cuddled up with my hubby @ssimonkennedy on the sofa about to watch a Sunday night film โ˜บ๏ธ โ–ซ๏ธ5 mins hill sprints Then 12 of each โ—ฝ๏ธ Shoulder press โ—ฝ๏ธ Bent over row โ—ฝ๏ธ Squats โ—ฝ๏ธ Burpees (๐Ÿ˜ฉ) โ—ฝ๏ธ & plank hold I managed 4 rounds in 20 mins ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Who doesnโ€™t love a before and after ๐Ÿ˜‚ 1 week postpartum โžก๏ธ 9 months postpartum For me itโ€™s definitely been โ€œ9 months in, 9 months outโ€ (at least). Iโ€™ve been in no rush and my first priority was sorting out my core and pelvic floor ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™ˆ = 3/4 half hour gym sessions and one yoga class per week at the moment, and plenty of running about and lifting up my 9kg baby boy! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’™
